The water is very hard and rises from a spring on a hill-a-mile away from the distillery, it is heldd in a reservoir at a dissued Walliwall quarry bedore being piped ti the distillery, Michael Jackson, one of the best specialists, author of various books on Belgian whiskies and beers, reports that Higland Park is the only whisky that has ever been rated 10 out of 10 by Scotsman tasters. An excellent aged Highland Park, distilled on the 4th of December 1989 and bottled 18 years later. 70cl/46%
