SCYFOOD > Whisky Springbank 1997 Single Sherry Cask 22 Year Old Contact Customer Service ENQUIRY Founded in 1828, the Springbank distillery has remained under family ownership since, Springbank is also one of distilleries to survive from the thirty plus distilleries, which once formed the centre of the scotch malt whisky industry of Campbeltown. Springbank is distinguished by being the only Scottish distillery to floor malt all the barley it requires, it is also one of the few to bottle on site, making this only 'estate' malt with thhe same mountain spring water from Crosshill Losh. This whisky was distilled in 1997 and laid to rest in a single fresh sherry hogshead for 22 years before being bottled in 2019. The bottle is titled Starkicker. 70cl/51,4%
